Beginning with the fundamentals and moving through Lindy Charleston and the more advanced steps of Volume 3 this is your best chance to learn on DVD this great, joyous, exhilarating art form what Norma Miller called the most profound dance to ever come out of America. Dan and Giselle are as accomplished teachers as they are dancers and they patiently and thoroughly not only break down the "moves" but ground you in lead and follow exercises to get the "feel" of Lindy: connection and momentum, contact and frame, compression and leverage, all the while imparting their knowledge and love for the history and the personalties of this rich tradition and generously sharing what they have learned over their years of dancing. Invoking Frankie Manning and Whitey's Lindy Hoppers as well as the likes of the Nicholas Brothers, Jewel McGowan and Dean Collins with their own innovations, you will find this series a wealth of inspiration for years to come. Bravo!
